Heart Tests
-
12 Lead ECG
A quick, painless test that records the electrical activity of your heart and can help identify or investigate heart rhythm problems, chest pain, palpitations and other cardiac conditions. The test usually takes around 10 minutes.
-
Extended ECG Monitoring – 24/48/72 Hours, 7 or 14 Days
Extended ECG monitoring records your heart rhythm over a longer period, helping to detect intermittent or occasional heart rhythm problems that may not be picked up during a standard 12-lead ECG.
A small, comfortable waterproof monitor will be supplied for you to wear for the selected monitoring period. You can continue with your normal daily activities while wearing the monitor.
Once the monitoring period is complete, the monitor is returned and the recording is analysed. A report of the findings will be provided at the end of the monitoring period.
