GP Appointments

  • You have a choice to book 15, 30 or 45 minute appointments.

  • Have your consult on your phone

  • Have a video consult, you can hold these consults anywhere you like so long as you have an internet connection. This includes when you are on holiday!

Health Checks

  • A full check up with a GP followed by a comprehensive blood test and ECG.

  • If you want to get checked out for your own peace of mind this appointment includes a Blood pressure check, a BMI, Waist circumference (if indicated), urine dip, and a blood test that will check your full blood count, your kidney, liver and bone function, your cholesterol level, your Hba1C (sugar level) and your thyroid. An ECG will be done if indicated.

  • Thinking about starting some exercise and want to check - you will have a full check up with a GP followed by a comprehensive blood test, ECG and bespoke advice.

  • Choose a simple blood test to check for common allergens.

    You can select to test for a true allergy (IgE) or an intolerance/ sensitivity (IgG) to food, inhalant or specific allergies.

Nurse and HCA

  • Book directly in for a blood test. This is just for the service.

    You have the choice of bringing your NHS forms and tubes then taking them back to the lab yourself

    OR

    You may have been advised certain blood tests by your Shropshire Health clinician and received a quote for those.

    OR

    You may wish to take out one of our health screens without seeing a GP first.

  • Need an ECG doing? This appointment is just for the ECG, you may wish to book an appointment with a GP afterwards to discuss the results.

    A weight loss programme using the modern medicines along side a structured program looking, supporting and advising on nutrition, movement and wellbeing to ensure you lose weight and it stays off long term.

  • If you are a regular patient at the clinic you can request your repeat prescriptions direct. These are processed within 24 hours.

  • This appointment will both assess the suitability of the injection and also will allow you to have the injection during the consult should you wish.

Dr Katrina Whalley

  • Small group Restorative yoga class, 1st Monday of the month, 7-8 pm (booking essential).

    This is a gentle and inconclusive practice, suitable for everybody. You may be seeking simple relaxation, time for self-care, or perhaps needing space to recover and re-energize.

    Western Medical Acupuncture is an adaptation of traditional Chinese acupuncture which incorporates our current understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and evidence-based medicine. You can choose from Standard Western Medical Acupuncture (30 mins) or Electroacupuncture (40mins). In Electroacupuncture the needles are connected to a device which transmits a mild electrical current. This increases the intensity of the treatment and may be useful in more stubborn conditions such as osteoarthritis of the knees. 

    Acupuncture can be used to treat many conditions, especially headaches and migraines, back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain and even menopausal symptoms.

    Are you feeling stuck? Is an important decision going around and around in your head? Perhaps you are dissatisfied with something in your life and need some help to clarify why. A coaching conversation helps you approach your current situation with a fresh perspective. You will explore your unique strengths, values, experience and physical intelligence. Optional breathwork, mindfulness, visualisation and other embodiment techniques are offered alongside traditional coaching tools.
