  • At Shropshire Health we feel this care is standard GP work.

    Our GPs can manage all aspects of menopause management including hormonal and non hormonal treatments, including initiating and managing testosterone if appropriate.

    We would encourage you to book a 30 or 45-minute GP appointment here so we can look at all aspects and check symptoms are due to hormones / women’s health.

  • Want to remove or replace your coil or have an implant fitted?

    We offer Coil removals, Coil fittings, implant removals or fittings in a non rushed relaxing setting.

    Coils:

    We do need to speak to you prior to you having the coil fitted so we have split the appointments up to:

    1) Coil fit: Part 1: Pre-Fit Telephone Consultation £55. In This appointment the doctor will ensure that the procedure is right for you, that you have a prescription for the coil and will answer any questions you have as well as giving pre-procedure advice to ensure it goes as smooth as possible.

    2) Coil Fit: Part 2: Procedure £195. In This appointment the coil is fitted in a relaxed environment, with the presence of a lovely chaperone to help distract you.

    Coil removals: £150

    Implants:

    You can book in direct for these- contact us for availability.

    Removals cost: £150

    Re-fits are £180 - an implant must be provided - we can provide the prescription if required.

    Please Note:

    You need a prescription for the coil or implant - this is not included in the price. You can get these from your NHS GP or requesting the private prescription from us.

  • If you are a regular patient at the clinic you can request your repeat prescriptions direct. These are processed within 24 hours.

  • Book an initial consultation to begin treatment with confidence.
    In this 30-minute appointment, one of our doctors will:

    • Review your medical history and assess any potential risks

    • Explain how to use the injection pen correctly

    • Discuss common side effects — and how to minimise them

    We also provide flexible follow-up consultations (Short or Long) at 1, 3, or 6 months, so you have ongoing support throughout your journey.
