About Us:
Shropshire Health Clinic Ltd is a brand new soon to open private health and wellbeing clinic based in Shrewsbury, aiming to provide high-quality, personalised medical care to a diverse patient population. We are building a friendly, forward-thinking, patient-centred clinic and are now seeking a flexible, friendly, organised candidate to join our growing clinical team.

The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and approachable individual to act as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. This is a varied role that combines front-of-house reception duties with general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner

  • Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and accurately

  • Manage patient bookings and appointment schedules

  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld

  • Process payments and issue receipts

  • Support clinicians with general administrative tasks

  • Ensure the reception area and clinic are tidy and always welcoming

  • Assist with stock control and ordering of clinic supplies

  • Help coordinate room usage and support visiting practitioners

  • Support with social media if comfortable to do so

About You:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or customer-facing role (healthcare experience an advantage but not essential)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly and professional telephone manner

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and flexibly, with a positive and proactive attitude

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and practice management software (training provided)

  • Discreet and trustworthy — committed to maintaining patient confidentiality
