Hours: Part-time, flexible

About Us:
Shropshire Health Clinic Ltd is a brand new soon to open private health and wellbeing clinic based in Shrewsbury, aiming to provide high-quality, personalised medical care to a diverse patient population. We are building a friendly, forward-thinking, patient-centred clinic and are now seeking a flexible, experienced Practice Nurse to join our growing clinical team.
If you are an enthusiastic nurse who enjoys providing excellent care in a welcoming environment — and can perform phlebotomy and general practice nursing duties — we would love to hear from you.
The Role:
This is a varied role working alongside GPs and visiting clinicians. You will provide nursing support and phlebotomy services, and help deliver a seamless and professional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform phlebotomy and manage blood sample handling
Carry out basic health checks (BP monitoring, BMI, ECGs, urine testing, etc.)
Administer vaccinations and injections (adult and travel vaccines as appropriate)
Provide wound care and dressings
Conduct health promotion and lifestyle advice
Support clinicians with clinical procedures as required
Assist with stock management of clinical supplies
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with clinic policies
Contribute to infection control and clinical governance processes
Any areas of interest are beneficial – including asthma checks, diabetes management etc.
Support with educational Social media if comfortable to do so
About You:
NMC Registered Nurse (current registration required)
Competent and confident in venepuncture (essential)
Experience in primary care, practice nursing or outpatient clinic setting desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Patient-centred, compassionate and professional approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to work flexibly and as part of a small multidisciplinary team
Confident using clinical IT systems (training provided if needed)
